This policy explains what personal data AdventureCZ collects through this website, why, and what rights you have over it, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data you give us directly
When you submit the contact/enquiry form, we collect: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), the type of activity you’re interested in, and your message.
Why: to respond to your enquiry and, where it proceeds, to arrange your rental, training day, or guided tour.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in responding to general enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)) where no booking follows.
Retention: enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless a booking is made, in which case records are kept as required for contractual, accounting, and legal purposes.
This form is protected by an automated bot-detection check, which processes limited technical signals (such as your IP address and browser characteristics) to confirm you’re a real visitor. This check does not use tracking cookies.
3. Cookies and tracking
We distinguish between cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work, and everything else, which only runs after you give consent through the cookie banner.
Always active (no consent required):
pref_lang— remembers whether you’re browsing in English or Czech. Strictly necessary for the site to function as you’d expect; no tracking purpose.- A bot-detection check — see section 2 above; necessary for form security, not used for tracking.
Only after you consent, via the cookie banner, do we activate analytics cookies (to understand how visitors use the site), advertising cookies (to measure and improve our advertising), and any additional preference cookies we introduce over time. Until you make a choice, or if you decline, these remain inactive or run in a reduced, anonymised mode that doesn’t identify you individually. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer of this site.

- Lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz), or your own country’s supervisory authority

6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on the systems above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take proportionate steps for the type of data we handle.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools or practices change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected here; we don’t send separate notices for routine updates.
